We have purchased 13 acres of land to build the physical infrastructure of Nyanja Health Research Institute. This plot is located in the middle of our population health surveillance catchment area, on the main road between Salima town and Senga Bay on Lake Malawi.
We need to raise $1.5m to construct an office block, health research lab, serpentarium and antivenom laboratory, a large open air meeting room, and visitors accommodation.
Our long-term vision includes demonstration agricultural and nutrition projects proactively mitigating the impact of rapid climate change on the intersection of agriculture, nutrition and health.
